For almost four years, Florent Pagny has publicized his fight against cancer. Chemotherapy, treatments of all kinds, hospitalizations, remissions… the singer decided to speak openly about his illness.
But today it's the turn of his daughter, Aël, to speak on the subject. The 25-year-old young woman decided to share her feelings, she who supported her father in this tragic ordeal. On November 3, it was in front of the journalist Audrey Crespo-Mara that she took her first steps on television, in the show “Sept à Huit” on TF1.
“Ael is a look, a look, a freshness! This is the first time she has spoken on TV. For years, the daughter of Florent Pagny, photographer, has been telling the story of a father in his daughter's eyes” then describes the journalist. This is also the first time she has released a book. In Pagny by Aël (Editions Harper Collins), the young woman reveals previously unpublished photos of the singer at the dawn of his 65th birthday. Photos initially taken on the occasion of his 60th birthday tour. A tour which abruptly stopped because of his lung cancer.

“It's not easy, you shouldn't pretend that it's easy, but you have to stay positive, even if it's super difficult. It's so essential for yourself and for the person who is in charge. living with your illness You have to take care of yourself and surround yourself well.” she assures.
