Alain Delon died on August 18, 2024 at the age of 88. Nearly three months after his disappearance, biographer Bernard Violet released a work entitled “The last Delon mysteries. All his secrets revealed” (Ed. Robert Laffont). This is a new version of his previous best-seller, released in 2000.
In this new biography, the journalist explores the actor's sexuality in particular. On Wednesday, November 13, he explained to Parisian :
“I am resuming certain previously unpublished passages from my old interviews, which witnesses had asked me to keep secret until the star's death. This book has also been enriched with new testimonies”.
Romy Schneider would have mentioned the bisexuality of Alain Delon
Alain Delon is known to have had several love stories with famous women. According to Bernard Violet, the Cheetah was however bisexual “during the first thirty years of his life”. Testimonies that “come from credible personalities” would also confirm his theory.
Among them, there would be Romy Schneider. His first great love would have mentioned Alain Delon's bisexuality to one of his relatives. “Romy Schneider herself had confided it to one of her best friends” assured the biographer. And added: “I think that the rebel that he was explored everything in terms of sexuality, with women, with men or in threesomes.”.

Between 1958 and 1963, Alain Delon had a beautiful love story with Romy Schneider. For a long time, they were also nicknamed “the engaged couples of Europe”. After five years of passion, they experienced a brutal breakup. The actor, however, retained great affection for the one he described as “the love of his life”.
If Romy Schneider would have confided in one of her best friends about the bisexuality of Anthony Delon's father, she would also be the subject of rumors.
