“Not snobbish at all”: Clara Luciani makes rare confidences about her pregnancy and her one-year-old son

After a well-deserved parental leave, Clara Luciani has decided to make her comeback on the music scene. With his new album, My Blood, the young woman, not very comfortable with her size, speaks openly about her pregnancy and motherhood. her son is a big fan of his mother's music.
“My child is not a snob at all”, she said smiling.
“It goes from 'Ugly Duckling' to Beethoven. What's great is that he has vibes on everything. He dances a lot. I am happy and reassured that he appreciates music as much as we do. I inherited that from my father. My grandmother also spent her time singing. I like to tell myself that it is deeply rooted in me”describes the one who says she is a very fulfilled mother.

And it was while pregnant that Clara Luciani, who received an email from Françoise Hardy in the past, started writing her new songs. Describing himself as
“hyperactive”the young woman felt some fears: “I was worried that my body wouldn't allow me to work through to the end. My fear was to find myself bedridden! I wanted to take advantage of these nine months of waiting to make a record”she confides with nostalgia.

If she did not wish to evoke her pregnancy in her songs, she especially wanted to“address to my future child. Tell him who I was, where I came from, who his grandparents were, his great-grandparents. I wanted to confide to him my life journey, my mistakes, the friendly disappointments that I may have had, my heartbreaks, my beginnings in music…”.

This scathing clarification from the singer

While she is going on tour, Clara Luciani wanted to make a little clarification regarding her possible fears of leaving far from her son: “I notice that we never ask musician dads this question, because we assume that they will find solutions”denounces the singer.

And his companion never had to justify anything: “Alex is never asked about it. It still proves something… I recently took a trip to Benin with Unicef ​​and, on Instagram, someone commented: 'You'd better take care of your own child.' I have never seen comments like this on my partner’s account”. Clara Luciani would like things to change for all women who also want to have a career.
