Saturday evening, in the grounds of the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Festival of Remembrance took place, a commemoration concert in tribute to the British soldiers who fell for Great Britain. Kate Middleton was present, alongside Prince William. The next day, she continued her official engagements by going to the Cenotaph in Whitehall, with Sophie Rhys-Jones, Duchess of Edinburgh. She was dressed all in black, during these two appearances which generally won over everyone, except Narinder Kaur, star of the show Good Morning Britain.
As a reminder, Kate Middleton has been fighting cancer for several months now, and had to withdraw to treat herself in complete peace. Until her return this weekend, every news about her was carefully scrutinized. This was particularly the case when, just a few days ago, Laura Warhsaur posted on her networks a previously unpublished photo of her posing with the Princess of Wales. They were both students at St Andrews at the time.
This photo was taken at an apartment party in Hope Street, where Kate and William lived during their second year of study. This is what our colleagues at Sunwhile describing this image in which the mother of George (11 years old), Charlotte (9 years old) and Louis (6 years old) wears a beige turtleneck sweater, and little makeup.
Laura Warshaur recalls her friendship with Kate Middleton
Laura Warshaur published this photo on Instagram to support the princess in her fight against the disease. “Sending love to Kate Middleton, the future Queen of England and my college friend!“, she said in the caption of her post. “That was us at a Hope Street apartment party. I have the fondest college memories with Kate. She is the kindest, most caring, most down-to-earth, most genuine person, and it's incredible to see her shine bright and inspire the world with her compassion and courage.“
The Sun finally recalls that Laura Warshaur, “who is now a singer-songwriter“, had already revealed in the past”how she saw Kate fall in love with her future husband, Prince William“, within this Scottish university. You know the rest, since Kate and William today form one of the most emblematic couples of the royal family.
