Nicknamed “ the Little Prince of Raï», the singer moved away from the world of music after publicly displaying his support for Nicolas Sarkozy during the 2007 presidential campaign.
Since then, the artist has been more discreet in the media, nevertheless granting a few interviews from time to time.
In a “Complément d’investigation” program, broadcast in 2022, the singer, native of Mantes-la-Jolie, explains that he suffered depression after supporting the former President of the Republic.
«JI was very bad, I had threats, anonymous letters, I lost everything (…) I have my son who was attacked several times because of that“, he confided.
Faced with this situation, Faudel made a radical decision: to settle in Morocco with his family.

Since then, Cheb Faudel has regained momentum. Very active on social networks, Faudel reveals behind the scenes of his daily life on Instagram, where he is followed by more than a million fans.
On the professional side, the latter continues to give representations abroad, reports Gala magazine. This Sunday, November 10, the musician also performed on the Yoyo stage at the Palais de Tokyo, during an evening organized by the La Kasba collective.
For the occasion, Faudel announced his arrival in a video published on the association's Instagram page. Above, the father appears very changed.
Layered haircut, locks styled upwards, round glasses… The star singer of the 2000s is almost unrecognizable with his new style, far removed from that of his debut.
The least we can say is that his change of look has caused a reaction among Internet users, who do not recognize him:
