“It’s one of the world’s first luxury plug-in hybrids,” he tells HLN. “There are only 14 in Belgium and it costs 138,000 euros in total. »

A rare piece not only for its limited number of copies but also for the fact that the manufacturer is now bankrupt. So it was a cold shower for Gunther when he got up on Friday morning: the car was indeed hit by another vehicle in his driveway, a few days after he was finally able to take it out of the garage after 5 years… Result: it is unfortunately fine damaged… Who could have caused this accident? Gunther doesn’t know because the person responsible committed a hit-and-run, but he has some clues. “It took me 5 years to repair it and I finished 14 days ago,” he laments. “I don’t know what could have happened. I think a tractor may have veered off course. A few meters further I found a fence post which was also hit. »

“It can happen,” Gunther admits bitterly. “But you don’t continue on your way like that. It makes me angry. » Informed, the local police area is looking for the culprit. “According to the paint marks, the tractor appears to be red,” concludes Gunther.
