During Kamala Harris' three-month campaign blitz, celebrities gave their votes for the woman they had chosen as the new president of the United States. On Instagram, Beyoncé posed with a t-shirt emblazoned with the face of the young Democratic candidate. When Bruce Springsteen appeared in a vice-presidential campaign spot. Lady Gaga sang at Kamala Harris' last meeting in Pennsylvania. And Jennifer Lopez revolted after a comedian's joke compared Puerto Rico to “a floating island of waste” at Trump's meeting in New York. The list could go on.
However, the one that the showbiz stars had chosen did not win the election.
