Princess Charlene of Monaco has offered a rare insight into her personal life, as wife Prince Albert shed light on the adorable personality traits of her children, royal twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.
Speaking to the magazine Gala, the former Olympic champion spoke about what Jacques and Gabriella, both 9 years old, have in common, as well as the thing that sets them apart.
“The conversations I have with Jacques and the ones I have with Gabriella are so different, as is the time spent with them,” explained Princess Charlène, 46 years old. She first explained the “curious” personality of her daughter, Princess Gabriella, Countess of Carladès: “Gabriella is very curious. She is very intrigued by the world and life in general. »
Prince Jacques is also fascinated by the world, Charlene noted, although the heir to the Monegasque throne, who also bears the title Marquis des Baux, seems to be a little more introverted than his extroverted sister: “He is curious and observer, declared the princess, he is more reserved, he is naturally very calm. »
So it seems like the two royal twins are a perfect pair: They complement each other's differences, but are similar enough to support each other as they grow into their leadership roles. However, Princess Charlene admitted that balancing family life and royal duties can be a real challenge, especially as a mother. She said it's sometimes “hard to find time for one-on-one time” with her children, which she knows is “essential when you're the parent of twins.” »
