Julie Andrieu shared some secrets about her life in the podcast Beautiful Journey. The host returned to her recent move outside France with her family.
Julie Andrieu has always loved traveling. She has also transported viewers to new horizons with her shows. Julie's Notebooks or even Fork and backpack. It is therefore not for nothing that she made the decision to leave France with her husband Stéphane Delajoux and their children. They made the decision to go to Rome, Italy, where the host has ties and a few friends including Luana Belmondo, but everything did not go as planned. She confided about their departure in the podcast Beautiful Journey.

The host and her partner wanted to move to Rome as a family but, busy with work, this move was difficult for Stéphane Delajoux, surgeon. “We left to settle there and it still turned out to be a little complicated because my husband didn't have the possibility of leaving more permanently since he works here. So he was going back and forth, so we said it was better for me to do the back and forth. So now it's me who goes back and forth to Italy and he works here, we found our feet here. But we stayed three months in Rome, yes“, confided Julie Andrieu. The host often went on trips and wanted to share an experience with family. “I've never stayed anywhere else, let alone with the kids. It's true that it's always a struggle to leave, even if it's to go on great trips and discoveries.“, she added before explaining that it was because a friend of hers moved to Rome that she decided to do the same.

Determined to change her life, Julie Andrieu had planned to stay in Italy and had enrolled her children in school. “We really thought we would stay for a year, so we signed up for a year. […] It’s the French school and we were very, very pleasantly surprised by this very open, very positive pedagogy.“, she declared. Her children were not thrilled with the idea of leaving their friends in France, but got used to it. The host, she admits that she would have liked to stay. “It was hard because I would have stayed, it's true. But now, for family reasons, it was our priority“, she concluded.
