Lucas Bravo (Emily in , Libre) suffers from a syndrome that affects 70% of people at some point in their lives

We can no longer get rid of the image of Gabriel, the cook who melted Emily's heart. It is the actor Lucas Bravo who is hiding behind this character who now capsizes hearts across the world. Moving to the United States at the age of 17 to study theater, the young man then returned to to take part in castings. He lands his first role in the series “Under the Saint-Tropez sun” and continued the castings until that of Emily in Paris which completely changed her relationship with celebrity. Interviewed by our colleagues from Paris Match, footballer Daniel Bravo and singer Eva Bravo, the actor's parents, spoke of their son's success. His mother confided: “In , it's okay, but abroad, it's madness! I didn't really like it when Daniel was monopolized by his fans. Now it's my son who is attacked in the United States, in Hong Kong , in India… It’s complicated!”. And the ex-footballer adds: “This notoriety can make life difficult for him. I know my son, he is deeply kind and needs to live peacefully, in complete freedom, without fear of being spied on or constantly approached.”.

In his portrait drawn up by our colleagues, the actor with beautiful blue eyes looks back on his career and the fact that he seems to be perfect, almost the ideal son-in-law. Faced with this image that he reflects, Lucas Bravo invites us to take a grain of salt. “Ouh yes! Stop saying I'm the ideal guy! In reality, I'm full of anxiety and I ask myself a few too many questions. I would like to go through life with more lightness”he admitted. And to resume: “I am convinced that it is anxiety that pushes us to be what we are. What I mean by that is that, from the moment we stop questioning ourselves and settle into a certain comfort, we become a little bit stupid.. The actor seems far from reaching this stage since it is fueled by imposter syndrome that he continues to evolve in the world of cinema, “torn between an ego flattered by sudden notoriety and doubt about its legitimacy”underline our colleagues.

According to the Journal of Behavioral Science, “70% of people, regardless of their gender or socio-professional category, have felt at least once a feeling of imposture”. Although this phenomenon largely concerns the professional domain, it also affects the personal domain.

A memory of humiliation for Lucas Bravo

This feeling goes back to childhood “at the turn of a humiliation”. “One morning, I missed a turn on my skateboard when arriving in front of the school. I found myself on my butt and the board smashed the legs of the girl I was secretly in love with. Everyone saw me sprawl like a pancake and what could have been a pretext for meeting became a reason for a pre-breakup. That's when I discovered that I had immediate karma: as soon as I try to be smart, I pay for it within five minutes.”he told Paris Match. Lucas Bravo therefore refrains from any “show off” at the risk of quickly paying the consequences! We can find the actor, since November 1, on the poster of Librethe last film by Mélanie Laurent in which he plays Bruno Sulak who marked the history of banditry.
