[…] I didn't immediately talk about music, because my parents didn't necessarily have the means. […] Despite all that, we could have broken up and stopped talking to each other, but that's not the case!“

If Maureen's story particularly moved Clara Luciani and the teachers, the young woman did not expect to be also overwhelmed by emotion when talking about her journey and especially the love and support of those close to her. “Today, my family is my biggest support. It's thanks to them that I am here today, because they always reminded me that school was plan B and that plan A, music, will arrive when it arrives“, explained the young woman. And before settling down and performing a song that makes her feel like it was written by her own hand, Maureen added: “I hope to be as strong as my mom and as appreciative of the work of others as my dad is of me.“
