Twenty years ago, the French discovered Grégory Lemarchal in season 4 of the Star Academy. Two decades later, while season 12 is in full swing, his classmate Mathieu Johann publishes rare photos on Instagram of the adventure they shared with Lucie Bernardoni.
Looking at the new students of the Star Academy evolving at the castle and during the bonuses, Mathieu Johann was overcome with nostalgia. “In twenty years, the class of 2024 will also open their drawer of memories. Because we are all a little nostalgic for the time that passes when we realize how much time remains”wrote this Saturday October 19 on Instagram the former candidate of the Star Ac’ 4 in the caption of a series of five photos taken during the filming of the show. On the first of them, he appears alongside his friends from the Hoda class, Lucie Bernardoni, who has become a coach, and the big winner Grégory Lemarchal. Their bright smiles don’t lie.

Yours too”commented the candidate who will never forget the singer suffering from cystic fibrosis who died on April 30, 2007 at only 23 years old. In one of the photos posted by Mathieu Johann, Karine Ferri’s former darling appears very perky next to Sofiane, with whom he had brilliantly performed Besides from the musical The Ten Commandments during a bonus. He ends his message with an address to the two members of his class who work at the castle. “Pride to see our 2004 season so well represented at the castle thanks to the talented Lucie Bernardoni and Karima Charni”he writes. Before concluding: “To the students of the new generation: may your dreams come true.”

The students of the class of 2004 have always remained very united. In 2020, they came together for an album entitled Let’s stay friends. It was a tribute record to Grégory Lemarchal sold for the benefit of his association. A project of which Mathieu Johann had the initiative. Lucie Bernardoni participated by writing a new song entitled The Hopscotch. The one who revealed that she had a love affair with Grégory also sang on the other tracks on the album which were covers.
