“I will miss you”: Denis Brogniart experienced, the host lost a member of the Koh-Lanta tribe

With his heart in pieces, Denis Brogniart indicated that he had lost a friend dear to his heart in an Instagram publication posted on October 18, 2024. In the caption of a photo showing Stéphane, who worked on the show Koh Lantathe 57-year-old host writes: “Stéphane Rauch left us yesterday. He was a precious traveling companion, an accomplice for more than 20 years on Koh Lanta… we understood each other with a look, we shared the same passion for this program. He was a man faithful, very honest, an outstanding cameraman, tireless, a guy I loved, tough to a fault, loud-mouthed, with a fucking personality, a physique, a banter, convictions, all tinged with gentleness and tenderness… I often told him “with you I would go to the ends of the world”.

A friend he had known for over twenty years and who had a very special nickname among the show’s team and candidates. He confides: “We had known each other since 2003 and our filming in Panama. We had great mutual respect, he was always very considerate towards me. Stéphane inspired the youngest, he left his mark on the adventurers of Koh Lanta… we ‘Called my Steph COLONEL… because you were imposing… always with tact. Where you are today, we had to name you GENERAL!’

To conclude this moving post, Hortense’s husband would like to send a message to his family and loved ones. “I will miss you, we will miss you, you will no longer be my focus… but you will remain in our memories, you will continue to inspire me.
