journalist Julie Dupont becomes Miss Île-de-

Saturday evening, Dammarie-les-Lys hosted the launch of the new season of “Star Academy” and the ceremony of the regional election won by the 26-year-old young woman.

A kilometer and a half separates the Espace Pierre Bachelet, where the election ceremony of Miss Île-de- 2024from the Château des Vives-Eaux where the fifteen candidates for season 12 of “Star Academy” were preparing to make their entrance. While Nikos Aliagas launched the new edition of the musical reality show live on TF1, Julie Dupont (1.76 m) succeeded Élena Faliez.

This 26-year-old journalist, first runner-up to Miss Hauts-de-Seine 2024, beat her runners-up Nahéma Ledard, Cécile Vogt, Mélanie Gosnave, Charlène Izard and the eleven other candidates. “I wanted to represent a category of women that we don’t often see in the competition, hence the afro cut that I absolutely wanted to have during the elections and the various events”she declared before her victory.
