We now know the candidate who will represent Lorraine during the Miss France 2025 election which will take place December 14, 2024 at the park Futuroscope (Vienna).

Saturday October 12, Assia Roosz-Tomenti was elected Miss Lorraine, succeeding Angéline Aron-Clauss. For Lorraine Newsthe 25-year-old young woman reveals her journey and her ambitions to win the national title.

Assia Roosz-Tomenti was born in January 1999 in Nancy but grew up in the Paris suburbs, in Val-de-Marne. It has now been three years since she returned to the region, Villerupt (Meurthe-et-Moselle). “I was once told that when you are born in Lorraine, you always end up coming back here,” she says. I needed to come back, to leave Paris. »

At 25, the young woman leads from the front two professional careers : “I went up my personal services business and I am independent real estate agent in Luxembourg. In these two jobs, I like helping others, human contact and sharing with people.”

This election is revenge for me because I have long been self-conscious about my size. I want to tell young people: “Love yourself as you are and your life will be much easier.”

“When I do something, I do it thoroughly”

As she says herself, Assia did not dream of becoming a miss when she was little. “A lot of people told me I should try it. So I took a chance and when I do something, I do it to the fullest. After being 1st runner-up at Miss Meurthe-et-Moselle, I gave everything for the Miss Lorraine electionlearned the choreographies well and it paid off,” she rejoices.

Just crowned, Assia does not intend to stop there: “ My goal is to be sacred. It would be a huge source of pride to become Miss France, to bring that to Lorraine.” It must be said that the last time a candidate from Lorraine became Miss France (Sophie Thalmann in December 1997), Assia was not even born.

If preparation for the national competition in December will start quickly, Assia Roosz-Tomenti will be present at some events in the coming weeks, such as the inauguration of the Luminescences festival at the Amnéville zoo this Saturday, October 19.
