Celine Dion gets orange Gatorade poured on her head at the opening of “Sunday Night Football”

After singing Edith Piaf’s “Hymn to Love” on the Eiffel Tower for the Olympic Games, Céline Dion made an appearance on Sunday evening at the opening of “Sunday Night Football” (SNF) broadcast on NBC.

A few hours before the event, the organizers had cast doubt on the presence of the singer during this meeting awaited by football fans.

Indeed, a rather enigmatic publication published on social networks ignited the web on Sunday afternoon.

In a video we saw the singer dressed in a hoodie with the image of the two opposing teams, “Pittsburgh Steelers VS Dallas Cowboys”, walking with a determined step with Converse on her feet.

“Everything comes back Sunday evening,” we could read under the video, suggesting that Céline Dion could have sung at the opening of the show. Most Internet users who commented on the publication were hoping for the singer’s long-awaited return on stage: “I think and I hope she will be there, and maybe she will sing!” one of them said, while another raised the possibility that it was “just an advertisement for a brand of football shoes”.

During the evening, just before kick-off, the diva appeared in another video aimed at football fans with images of old matches between the two teams and having the song “It’s All Coming Back” in the background. to Me Now.

“My favorite thing about this game is its power to connect who we are to who we were,” Celine Dion says in the video.

“It proves that our most powerful memories, our most enduring loves, can stay with us forever. You know what I’m talking about, right? Some nights it all comes back,” she continues.

At the end of the video, Celine Dion has Gatorade poured on her head, celebrating by raising her fist in the air.

Note that the two football teams who meet on Sunday evening have not faced each other on “Sunday Night Football” on NBC since 1996.
