Kendji Girac celebrated his ten years of career, surrounded by his loved ones, just a few hours before the release of his new album, entitled “Vivre”.
It’s been ten years since Kendji Girac won The Voicemarking the start of a great musical career. The singer therefore decided to celebrate this event. The evening took place in an intimate setting, during an evening at the Parisian restaurant Bœuf sur le Toit. Surrounded by her loved ones, artists and music professionals, Kendji did not hesitate to take advantage of the moment as she should. His great friend, Vianney, was also there. The latter also published a photo on his Instagram account. In the caption, he writes:
“Writing these songs to you believing that you would never be able to perform them again; This is what I found to once again express my friendship to you. Today, this album is finally released, on which you have never sung so well. You command admiration amigo, and I am so grateful for all the things that have linked us for 10 years. Thank you for the lesson in resilience and the man you always were”.
Throughout the evening, the two men showed real complicity. During the evening, Kendji also offered a private concert to his guests, in order to prepare them for the imminent release of his new album.
Kendji turns the page
This long-awaited record is the result of deep introspection. Kendji talks about the terrible accident he suffered last April. During an argument with his partner, the artist accidentally shot himself. Although his life was in danger, this tragedy allowed him to take a new path, whether personally or professionally speaking. He therefore chose to turn the page, delivering a very intimate album. In addition, Kendji Girac wanted to apologize to his fans, through a poignant message published on his social networks. He then promised to never let his audience down, and to come back even stronger. Kendji Girac therefore decided to “Live”. A rebirth that he intends to share with his audience! During this evening at the restaurant, he also gave a speech along these lines:
“Ten years ago, I would never have thought I would do all this, all these albums. Make so many people dance and also scare a little. Ten years later, I’m still here, it went by really quickly, like a rocket! I am very proud of this work”.
Subsequently, he also wanted to thank his colleagues, without whom none of this would have been possible. He even added:
“I plan to do more, with incredible energy, which I will share again and again, with everyone”.
Thus, the artist should make his first public appearance, during the final of The Voice Kidsthis Saturday, October 5, 2024. A new additional step for Kendji Girac, after the announcement of his big tour planned for 2026!
