Laëtitia Milot married to Badri for 17 years, how illness threatened their love story

For this thirteenth season of Best Pastry Chef, Laëtitia Milot came to sprinkle the culinary competition with a breath of fresh air! The 44-year-old actress, revealed twenty years ago in More beautiful life, joins the band of Mercotte and Cyril Lignac as a host… but also an actress! “They were looking for someone capable of acting, you will understand why!” she whispers to us, still surprised to have been chosen by the production. Laëtitia Milot will therefore succeed Marie Portolano from Thursday October 10, 2024 from 9:10 p.m., after several grueling weeks of filming at the Château de Neuville, in Gambais. A few days before the launch, she arranged to meet us at the M6 ​​offices to answer our questions on the new Télé-Loisirs podcast, The Click(s).

Laëtitia Milot opens up about her relationship with Badri, her husband of 17 years

Laëtitia Milot has been a familiar face to the French for twenty years now, when she first played the role of Mélanie Rinato in More beautiful life. However, the one who grew up in a village near , never sacrificed her family life for her career. In 2002, after the death of his first love Yanis, she fell madly in love with Badri, whom she married in 2007. Together, they will fight against endometriosis to realize their biggest dream: starting their family. On May 14, 2018, after eleven years of failures, the actress gave birth to a little Lyana. Unfortunately, endometriosis is never far away… “The disease never really threatened us… Well, it may have threatened us from above, but only from above.”

Laëtitia Milot about endometriosis: “It can start arguments”

Indeed, endometriosis can sometimes create turbulence in family life. Asked about this, Laëtitia Milot confides: “We always said to ourselves that she will not win over our relationship. I tell you my endometriosis, you will not win over that! You may have won on other things, but you won’t win on this.”, she says, moved to tears. And to add about the solidity of his marriage with Badri: “Yes, illness can separate couples. You have pain during intercourse, there are fertility concerns, we can be in a very bad mood. I’ve experienced this… I’m not every day with a big smile from morning to evening. It can trigger arguments between the couple.” Talking about one of her recent arguments with her husband, she says with humor: “We looked at each other and said that after everything we had been through, we could move forward and erase this story.” A major challenge that Laëtitia Milot and Badri have been taking on for 22 years now: “I know we will stay together all our lives,” she concludes.
