Since she won Canada’s Got Talent in 2022, Jeanick Fournier has no time to breathe. She has remedied that over the past few months. “I had more time this summer, and I appreciated it! At the time, I said to myself: “My God, it’s quieter!” But I found it peaceful because I had just spent two incredible years at high speed. So I enjoyed getting back together, finding my children, taking time to create new memories and coming back strong for this great adventure and all those that will follow!” Although her job takes her most of the time to the Quebec metropolis, Jeanick lives in Chicoutimi. “The agenda is condensing. And if more business comes up, I have a handsome lover who has retired and who “drives Madame”! We lovingly call him James, explains the singer with a laugh. We tease him with that!” She made the choice to stay in Saguenay above all for her children. “They are my anchor. I have great stability through all of this for my commies. And my entire support network for my children with Down syndrome is there. It’s for them that I stay in Chicoutimi, because they have experienced enough upheaval. It was a big clash that happened to me two and a half years ago! Things happened for them. So we’re going to stick with this beat for now. I’m not closed to anything. Moving to Quebec would tempt me… but really not right away!”
