Mika is mobilizing for Lebanon. The singer, originally from this country plagued by Israeli bombings as part of an offensive against Hezbollah, launched an appeal on Friday for donations to support children.

“Upset by the tragedy striking Lebanon, I am launching an emergency appeal for children“, wrote Mika on his social networks. “More than 1.3 million children are at risk from the escalating conflict and more than 300,000 children have already been displaced“, he adds.

The singer published a link to a fundraiser intended to support UNICEF’s action in Lebanon. “UNICEF is on the ground to provide them with essential support: food, medicine, basic necessities and access to drinking water,” explains Mika. “Today, the children of Lebanon need your help.
