Michel Blanc died of a heart attack following a severe allergic reaction

The actor suffered anaphylactic shock after taking medication during a medical examination.

This Thursday, October 3, Michel Blanc left us at the age of 72. If, initially, we learned that the actor had suffered a heart attack, we now know more about the causes which led to this discomfort and this tragic disappearance.

According to BFMTV, Michel Blanc had a medical examination yesterday during the day. An examination which required the taking of a contrast product, namely a substance which allows the doctor to more easily control the organs during an MRI, a CT scan or an ultrasound.

It would be following the absorption of this contrast product that the actor would have suffered anaphylactic shock, a serious allergic reaction which manifests itself by dazzling swelling of the face and respiratory tract, leading to cardiac arrest.

Despite the rapid intervention of rescuers, Michel Blanc died in hospital late in the evening.
