Lies and staging in The Agency, a famous actor, who appeared in the show, confirms and balances!

It’s been four seasons since The Agency is broadcast alternately on TMC and Netflix. The cameras follow the Kretz family made up of parents Olivier and Sandrine as well as their four boys, all real estate agents, Martin, Valentin, Louis and Raphaël. On a daily basis, they are commissioned by wealthy clients looking for exceptional properties in the capital, but not only that. The clan was thus contacted by several personalities, like the footballer Alphonse Areola or the actor François Berléand. And in some cases, everything doesn’t happen exactly as it’s shown to viewers…

Fabrice Luchini also called on the services of the Kretz family. Indeed, Martin, the eldest of the siblings, had found the 72-year-old actor to show him around the offices. “Are you the real estate agent? Is it there, then?“, said the star. And to criticize the facade of the building upon his arrival: “I’m not excited about the place… It’s beautiful but upstairs… Good.“On the screen, no one saw anything. But in reality, it was a nice acting performance! This is what Fabrice Luchini affirmed years later to our colleagues at TV Magazine. In front of the cameras, he pretended not to know Martin Kretz and above all to discover the place located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris… which he had in fact already bought! “Out of kindness, as they found me these offices, which I love, in my popular neighborhood, I agreed to come and act as if I didn’t know them for their show“, he admits. And adds: “I played the client even though I had already purchased the offices ! Being an actor is great, it allowed me to thank them. I sometimes watch L’Agence but I don’t have deep sympathy for their clientele.“

Let us recall that for his part, Martin Kretz had delivered another version of the facts in 2020, to Tele-Leisure.
