After spending a long vacation in the sun, Gisele Bündchen had a busy return to school. Her month of September was very productive as evidenced by her Instagram account where she revealed the results of her latest advertising campaigns and projects. Thus, we could see her pose for the shoe brand Democrata or IWC Schaffhausen watches. Also, she did an absolutely incredible shoot for Vogue Brazil which she made the cover of. And it looks like the model isn’t about to slow down this fall. Indeed, the star started this new season by revealing images of her collaboration with Zara for which she underwent a drastic transformation. We bet some people didn’t recognize her right away!
Gisele Bündchen transformed
For this project with Zara, the 44-year-old model posed alongside Italian designer Stefano Pilati who presented his first creations for the ready-to-wear brand. These were photographed by Steven Meisel during a very elegant black and white shoot. And the latter had something very special since it was inspired by the Italian actress Monica Vitti, one of whose key features was a voluminous blonde bob. A cut that Gisele Bündchen herself adopted for this photo shoot and which completely transformed her. In the images, we could see the mother posing in an ultra low-cut top revealing a sideboob accompanied by a fur coat or in a polka dot top matched with high-waisted pleated pants. A real success!
A unique experience for the model
While many fans pointed out how beautiful the star was with this never-before-seen hairstyle, they couldn’t help but comment on how different Gisele Bündchen looked. As she explained in the caption of her Instagram post, the star loved this photo shoot and its originality. Something she reiterated during an Interview with W Magazine : “Stefano came to me and said, ‘Gisele, this is going to be the inspiration for the photoshoot: you’re going to be Monica Vitti and I’ll be the director.’ It’s so rare these days to have the opportunity to step into the shoes of a character. I adore !”One thing is certain, the result is breathtaking!
