Quite reassuring news. Almost a year ago, in October 2023, Salvatore Adamo canceled his concert at the Grand Rex, in , for health reasons. Although these next concerts were to be held, they were ultimately all canceled. It was only last May that the singer was able to resume concerts and found his audience. “I had pulmonary edemaa little water in the lungs. On October 18, I was supposed to go to the Grand Rex in Paris, and I had to cancel the same day. It took me a little over six months to regain my confidence, and especially my breath“, he confided to Ciné Télé Revue a few months ago.

In an interview given to Parisian, Salvatore Adamo returned to his state of health since his pulmonary edema. “Knock on wood, but everything is fine. I regained my breath and my energy. Pulmonary edema disappeared thanks to diuretic treatments“, he begins. The singer has even returned to the stage, to his greatest happiness. “I’ve done six concerts, including the Grand Rex, and it’s okay. I try to slow down as best I can, but it’s not in my character. It has always been a total gift, to be worthy of this privilege that I have to still be able to sing in front of an audience and do what I love“, he confided.

Salvatore Adamo back on stage: the disappointment of his fans

The singer’s fans are all delighted to be able to find him at concerts, but there is a little new thing that may disturb them. Salvatore Adamo now sings for two hours instead of two and a half hours. “There is a coalition standing against me (He smiles). At the Grand Rex, in June, I spent two and a quarter hours. It was reasonable… Well no… The problem is that people come from very far away to hear a song. It would be pretentious not to play it. And I want to show off my new pieces“, he declared. The singer also plans to release a new solo album, enough to have new songs to sing during future concerts.
