Catherine Zeta-Jones found an original way to mark the 80th birthday of her husband, Michael Douglas. The actress shared a photo of herself in an Eve outfit on Instagram, taken in a bathroom. In this black and white photo, we see her in profile, perched on stiletto heels, leaning on a sink while contemplating herself in the mirror.
“In my birthday outfit! After more than 25 years of sharing my birthday with my husband, I’m starting to run out of gift ideas!”she jokes in the caption. “Here’s gift option number two, with golf balls being option number one…of course”she adds with humor.

The “Wednesday” star and Michael Douglas are one of the most enduring and fascinating couples in show business. Married since 2000, they share not only their life but also their date of birth: September 25. This year therefore marks their respective 55th and 80th birthdays.
Their love story began in 1998 during the Deauville film festival. Michael Douglas remembers: “I met her at the bar, and she was a real lady. I asked him: ‘By any chance, do you want to come back for a last drink?'” Their love at first sight quickly materialized with an engagement in December 1999, followed by the birth of their first child, Dylan, in August 2000, then their marriage in November of the same year. Their daughter, Carys, arrived in 2003.
Despite their 25-year age difference, the couple was able to overcome challenges, notably Michael Douglas’ health problems.
To mark this symbolic date, Michael Douglas opted for a more classic approach and published a beautiful black and white portrait of his wife. “To my birthday sister, I love you with all my heart! May your New Year be the best!”, he writes affectionately.
