The actor discusses his role in NCIS where he played assistant director Jerome Craig and is interested in the next series by Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo. Ultimately, the arrival of Covid-19 proved beneficial for the actor. “This is the first time in my career that I have not worked”he remembers before detailing: “You can’t work, you’re far from the sets, far from the other actors”. A distance which allowed him to achieve: “I didn’t know how to live a normal life without work. I was lost.”. A completely different life then opened up to the actor. “I found myself cleaning toilets, making pancakes for my kids, doing everything. And I thought I should do this more often.”says Michael Weatherly.

His life away from the sets for two years therefore allowed the actor to fully enjoy his family and his children with whom he maintains a strong relationship as he reveals in the podcast. “I just got back to work and my phone is ringing in my pocket.”continues the interpreter of Tony DiNozzo. “I was in Los Angeles in my hotel and my 10-year-old son, the youngest, calls me in tears. And he says, ‘I miss you so much, Dad.'”says the actor, adding: “I realized that I didn’t know what to do in the face of so much love.”. “It’s awesome but terrifying at the same time”he concluded.
