Caroline Margeridon’s disillusioned outburst about scams using her name and image (EXCLUSIVE)

Although Caroline Margeridon is not directly the target of scams, her image is regularly used illegally to try to get money from her fans. On social networks, criminals create fake accounts in her name and demand money for various reasons. The famous buyer of Affaire conclue regularly takes the time to warn her community on her personal social networks. Initially interviewed to talk about flea markets, she confided in Femme Actuelle between anger and helplessness.

Present in many shows (Affaire conclue, DALS, Les traîtres, Fort Boyard but also competitions and cooking), Caroline Margeridon has seen her popularity increase proportionally. As well as the scams of which she is the target and against which she fights to her extent. “On my networks, I say every month: be careful my loves, I never ask for money. At a given moment, I can’t do more. I’m not going to say every day: be careful I’m not asking for money.”

In addition to her stories, the famous Affaire conclue buyer explains that she spends “3/4 hours on social media per night” responding to her community who share scams with her and try to track down the scammers, in vain. “I’m starting to not be able to do it anymore, it’s too much,” she tells us, overwhelmed. Hidden behind fake accounts and identities, the scammers “block me so that I can’t respond to them,” she explains. “It’s the real scourge of the internet (…)
