Kim Woo Bin opened up about his battle with cancer.
On September 16, Kim Woo Bin and Kim Sung Kyun, who starred together in the movie “Officer Black Belt,” appeared on Shin Dong Yup’s YouTube channel “Zzanbro Shin Dong Yup.” During the episode, Kim Woo Bin opened up about his experience while talking about his battle with cancer. In 2017, Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, and he achieved complete recovery in 2019.

Looking back on his battle with cancer, Kim Woo Bin revealed:
“I am naturally a positive person, someone who always tries to find the bright side of things in any situation. That day was like a scene from a drama when the doctor suddenly told me, “If it’s short, you only have 6 months to live.” I was shocked and scared, and I wished it was just a dream. But even then, I never thought, “What if I can’t get through this?” That thought never crossed my mind.
The actor went on to explain that while it wasn’t easy to keep a positive mindset in the moment, he continually worked to keep his spirits up during his treatment.
He also spoke about his philosophy of positive thinking, admitting that he tried to see it as an opportunity given to him by heaven to have time to rest after spending 10 hectic and hectic years. He said:
“So many people, just because they recognized my face, have offered me their support and prayers. I believe that support has given me strength. I want to give back and pass on the prayers I have received to as many people as possible.”
