In Greek mythology, Cassandra is the victim of a curse. In “Koh-Lanta”, it seems that this first name also carries a – slight – bad omen. In the episode of “La tribu maudite” broadcast this Tuesday, September 10 on TF1, the young author broke a sad record: that of the greatest number of black balls drawn in a row before the events. As a reminder, these black balls, drawn at random from a small bag passed by Denis Brogniart, are used to designate those who will not compete in the event, for the sake of fairness between the reds and the yellows, who must have the same number of women and men.

Once again, Cassandre, who is part of the red tribe, was unable to participate in the comfort test, after drawing her 5th black ball in a row. A test ultimately won by the yellow team. The only ones to have drawn as many in a row are… Cassandre (yes yes) in 2015, as well as Stéphanie in 2022 with also 5 black balls each. But it doesn’t stop there. Before the much-dreaded immunity test, once again, Cassandre must draw from the small bag.Cassandre, you have drawn 5 consecutive black balls, you have only played the first team event. And if it was once again a black ball, it would be an absolute record”, says Denis Brogniart.
“I prefer to do without the record there, I admit.” she replies. But as she reaches out, even the yellow tribe seems to hold its breath.
