Mr. Pokora shares his experience with Ebony and Marine
While the grand finale of the Star Academy will take place on Saturday, Ebony and Marine will soon have to do their farewell to the castle. During their last days there, the candidates had the chance to receive visits from recognized artists, such as Mr. Pokora.
During a discussion with the two finalists of the program, the singer mentioned social networks. Mr. Pokora wanted to prepare Marine and Ebony for the unsympathetic messages they might read about them on the Internet during their careers. A important speech of which the two young girls did not miss a beat.
“Not real life”
“Regarding everything you read on social networks, you will have to make allowances“, Matt Pokora told the staracademicians. “People need to vent their hatred, their frustration”explained the singer about the malicious messages which can sometimes be posted on social networks.
Mr. Pokora admitted that he too was affected by insensitive comments on the Internet. Target of haters, the artist has chosen to take things philosophically. “In my 22 years of career, you can imagine everything I have read. If you stop at that…”testified the father of the family.
-“At some point it can destabilize you, but you really have to sort things out“advised Mr. Pokora to his interlocutors. “Social media is not real life” concluded the singer.
Comments validated by Mr. Pokora’s fans
Following his conversation with Marine and Ebony, Mr. Pokora’s speech was praised by a large number of Internet users. “He says things so well,” a fan gushed.
It must be said that, for several weeks, certain candidates of the Star Academy are the target of derogatory comments, added to a touch of racism. Mr. Pokora, strong in his long experience in the world of music, wanted to help Marine and Ebony deal with this disadvantage of the profession.
