François Corbier continued to sing after Club Dorothée

In 2014, Corbier gave a long interview to Plus de l’Obs, in which he looked back on his time in Club Dorothée. “I discovered that I was famous about four or five years ago. I’m still amazed by it,” he will explain. “If anyone knows me today, it might be a stroke of luck […] What annoys me are those who only talk to me about that. Who don’t listen to the new things that I offer them.” François Corbier had indeed resumed his activities as singer and composer in 2001 with three albums between 2003 and 2009. He died on July 1, 2018 from cancer. He was 73 years old.
