Virginie Fortin, the comedian and actress much loved by the public, confirmed on Rouge FM that she was pregnant with her second child.
A few months ago, in October to be precise, Virginie confirmed that she was in a relationship with Olivier Aubin-Mercier, the former mixed martial arts fighter well known in the industry. By the same token, she confirmed that he was therefore the father of her child, little Blanche born in September 2023.
Now the couple is expecting another child and it was Virginie herself who confirmed everything on Rouge FM while she was on Véronique et les fantasticantes. In addition, Virginie even revealed that the birth of the baby is planned for next May.
The one who will become a mother for the second time has already admitted that there have been moments in her life when she does not want to have children, she talks about it in her solo show My feelings. She also addressed the subject during her appearance at Sweet Salty last summer:
“I still agree with Virginie who didn’t want children, that is to say that I find the world sometimes worrying. I don’t go to bed at night hoping all the time that everything is going to be okay. It breaks my heart a little to have created someone who I don’t know if she’s going to be happy,” she confided to Mélanie Maynard.
-Furthermore, in this episode of Sucré Salé, she said that her first birth was “really fun” and that it went wonderfully. She even took the opportunity to make a selfie with the doctor following the birth. We wish Virginie that her second birth goes just as well, or even better, than the first!
During his passage to Véronique and the fantasticVirginie Fortin also spoke about the ideal age difference between children. You can listen to the show below where Virginie makes the big reveal:
