In the midst of the chaos of the immense fires in which the city of Los Angeles and its region is plunged, an unexpected initiative touched the heart of an artist. Heidi Montag was one of the many victims who saw their homes completely destroyed by the flames and had to rush out of the area. But shortly after sharing this news, a surge of solidarity was launched. Fans, including model and actress Emily Ratajkowski, rallied by purchasing and streaming Heidi’s one and only album, Superficial, originally released in 2010.

The search for the album, which initially flopped with only 1,000 copies sold in its first week of release, went viral and propelled it to the top of the iTunes chart.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, grateful Heidi, 38, said: “Thank you for the immense love and support for my music, and for truly supporting us through this devastating time, and for making it such a blessing .”
