Currently showing in “The Last Showgirl”, a film by Gia Coppola, in the land of Uncle Sam, Pamela Anderson continues interviews in order to promote the feature film in which she plays a fifty-year-old dancer who “must think about his future when his show abruptly closes after 30 years”. Invited to Andy Cohen’s microphone on the SiriusXM station, the actress confided that the success of this project across the Atlantic was a kind of revenge. She returned to the release of “Pam & Tommy”, the 2022 series which talked about the affair of his sex tape stolen from his safe by an electrician. “I found out about the Hulu affair while filming my Netflix documentary, ‘Pamela, a Love Story.’ I didn’t know anything about it. I wasn’t involved. No one called me, which was very strange and hurtful.”, she regretted. Then continue: “I won’t dwell on it, but it was quite strange to pick a very difficult time in my life and make entertainment with it, and see people nominated for Emmy Awards and all sorts of things.”.
Pamela Anderson then spoke about the success of “The Last Showgirl” and admitted to being proud. “It happened and now I’m here, and so it’s the best revenge. I am seen and recognized for my work and not for these lousy moments.”she rejoiced. Still as part of the promotion of Gia Coppola’s feature film, the actressAlert to Malibu took advantage of this moment to tell a funny anecdote on the podcast microphone Happy Sad Confused. She recalled a rather disturbing scene while she was flying in the early 2000s. “This guy came up to me and said, ‘You know what this country has done for you?’ I was like, ‘Oh my God, what have I done?’ And when I looked at him, he started growling.” she said. Surprised by this man’s behavior, Pamela Anderson was able to count on the support of the flight crew sincea flight attendant handcuffed the man to his seat so that he could calm down and no longer posed any danger.
Pamela Anderson mistaken for someone else
The actress then explained that this person did not want to attack her and thathe had actually hit the wrong target confusing her with one of the members of the female country group Dixie Chicks. The reason? Singer Natalie Maines sparked controversy after criticizing George W. Bush, still president of the United States, for his key role in the invasion of Iraq in 2003. “We don’t want this war, this violence, and we are ashamed that the president of the United States comes from Texas,” had launched the artist. Pamela Anderson concluded by recognizing that it was a “minor incident” since she had not been physically assaulted but this event had still had consequences for her. Indeed, after this incident the actress admitted to having had “fear of flying”.
