Already he can’t stand to see me in a film… And anyway, everything his parents do is usually shit“. “No, I’m being harsh, it’s not true, I’m just kidding. In another interview granted this time to Guillaume Pley as part of his format called “Legend”Guillaume Canet explained that his son had initially rejected it, not being able to stand seeing posters of his parents. “So, there was a total rejection at the start. I remember my son one day, we were on a scooter in Paris, and at one point we stopped in front of a Morris column where there was a photo of his mother in a film, and he said to me: ‘Why is there the poster?’. I told him: ‘It’s a poster for the film to promote it, so that people want to go see the film, to tell them that the film is going to be released in the cinema'”he first remembered. And to continue quoting his son: “Oh yeah, so you’re liars?” “I said to him: ‘But why liars?’. He said to me: ‘Because you only make shitty films.’ But he was like 6 years old. And I said to him: ‘But why do you say that? You’ve never seen a film. He said to me: ‘No, but I’m sure they’re shitty films'”concluded the actor with humor.
