From January 23 to 25, it’s the NBA’s big party. On the program, Basketball matches but also an evening event on the 24th, at the Accor Arena. In this exciting new event, celebrities, influencers and NBA legends will compete in a new interactive basketball game, where fans can decide what happens on the court.
Hosted by French basketball commentators TrashTalk, the event will feature teams led by French judo icon Teddy Riner and Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon, a musical performance by Dadju and special appearances from alumni and current NBA players.
Aya Nakamura, mistress of ceremonies
Another big surprise of this evening, Aya Nakamura was appointed artistic director of the NBA Paris Jam on January 24. A new role that the singer – who performed during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games – will surely take very seriously and which promises us colors, accessories and music of all kinds.
“She will open the event in style, kick off the fan vote, and join captains Teddy Riner and Esteban Ocon courtside to support both teams” specifies the press release.
Basketball legends will be present
The organizers, taken up by Paris Match, write: “Organized between the two NBA games between the San Antonio Spurs and the Indiana Pacers, the event will celebrate the convergence between the NBA and the music, fashion and entertainment that surround the game today through a series of games basketball and competitions featuring NBA legends Jalen Rose and Joakim Noah, celebrities, athletes and influencers who will be coached by French racing driver Esteban Ocon and French judo icon Teddy Riner“.
