Tongues are loosened. For the first time, Christophe Licata spoke about the clash between comedian Inès Reg and singer Natasha St-Pier which disrupted season 13 of Dancing with the stars. Asked by The Parisian following the publication of his book Revelation(s) in which he retraces his journey in VALLEYthe professional dancer has agreed to return to the affair which stole the show from the competition during the last season. “It was similar to school bullying. Some rather mature people behaved like 7 and a half year olds. Just look at our elimination: they all went to congratulate Nico Capone and no one was came to comfort us”he commented on the atmosphere behind the scenes of the show.

In his interview with The ParisianChristophe Licata revealed that season 13 of Dancing with the stars has been “the scariest” for him. Following the altercation between Natasha St-Pier and Inès Reg, whose partner he was, the dancer was physically attacked. “One evening, on my way home from rehearsals, I was attacked in the street. People fell on me and started hitting me.”, he confided. “Fortunately, witnesses intervened and made them flee,” reassured the choreographer. An attack that he did not wish to talk about at the time. “I didn’t tell my wife, my family, the production or the police”he admitted.

After his attack, Christophe Licata preferred to remain silent. “I hid my bruises because I was afraid it would come out. I no longer trusted anyone.”, he said about this terrible episode. “I was surprised by everything that happened, by the excitement around this little story”added Coralie Licata’s husband before explaining: “I preferred to remain silent because I was afraid.”
