Yves Coscas, 65, became the mayor of the town of Clamart, in Hauts-de-Seine. He is the father of the famous YouTuber McFly known for his duet with Carlito on the Youtube platform and whose channel has around 7.5 million subscribers.
He is now the new mayor of Clamart, in Hauts-de-Seine. This Tuesday, January 7, Yves Coscas (LR), aged 65, won the municipal election against David Huynh (Génération. s).
An election which was unusual to say the least since the new chief magistrate of the city is none other than the father of the famous YouTuber David Coscas, better known as Mcfly in his duet with Carlito. On the online platform Youtube, their channel has nearly 7.5 million subscribers.
Yves Coscas therefore succeeds Jean-Didier Berger, the former mayor who had been at the head of the city since 2014, reports Le Parisien. The latter left his post after being elected deputy for the 12th constituency of Hauts-de-Seine, during the last legislative elections. Mandates that he was able to accumulate for six months due to an appeal made against him during his election in the second round of the legislative elections.

“I am proud to have been chosen for this mission and I take my responsibilities,” declared the new mayor.
Concerning his son's popularity, the latter indicates that “If someone talks to me about my son, I don't hesitate to say that I'm extremely proud of him, but I want to separate my private life and preserve those around me. It's rare that people talk to me about him in Clamart and This absolutely does not interfere with my political action.” reports Le Parisien.
