EXCLUDED Marguerite advantaged by her influential family? The Star Academy 2024 candidate sets the record straight!

The noose tightens around the students of the ‘Star Academy’, while the semi-finals loom on the horizon. Unfortunately, Marguerite will not be there, having been eliminated during the last bonus. Indeed, on Saturday evening, a new Star Academy bonus was broadcast live on TF1. There were then only six candidates left in the running, with Ulysses and Marguerite on the ballot. Despite impressive performances and an almost flawless career, it was the 24-year-old young woman who was eliminated. A decision seen as an injustice by many viewers, who imagined her as a potential winner of the competition.

Since the launch of the show on October 12, the public had been able to meet Marguerite, a young woman of 24 years old. If we had already been able to see her three brothers on the prime, in particular on that of the surprises where they were invited during her duet with Julien Doré, she had remained more discreet as far as her parents were concerned. But Internet users did not hesitate to search. And they found that his dad was a very influential man. A status that Marguerite only briefly mentioned during a lesson with Marlène Schaff but which, as she left the castle, seemed to come back to her face.

For Purepeople, Marguerite wanted to reestablish the truth concerning the possible involvement of her influential family, both the status of boss of a large company of her father, and that of her brother, who works in music. She tells us everything!

During your adventure, you confided that you were afraid of being told that you did not deserve what was happening to you, because you came from a privileged background. Why did you say that?

It’s something which, as I expressed during Marlène, which could have worked on me at times in my life, but not only in the context of Star Ac, in the context of many other things . And it has already happened to me to be faced with remarks which are linked to a certain environment in which I was born, grew up or evolved. And that’s it, I would say that that’s why it’s important for me to show that I haven’t decided where I come from, but I’m very proud of the people around me and I am very proud to be part of my family and to be this person that I am, but only thanks to my choices that I made on my own and to my independence and to the work that I also provide, all simply.

Your brother works in the music industry. Are you going to collaborate with him?

My brother, in fact, works in the music industry and I consider that to be a great opportunity for me. However, I want to re-establish the truth a little, which is that I did everything on my own. I’m an independent person and I did the Star Ac’ casting on my own. And now that this adventure is over, obviously my brother’s advice will be valuable. Partly because it’s his job, but also because he’s my brother and he knows me by heart. With my brother Baptiste, we have a very strong bond. And if, in any case, we have to work together, it will really be a pleasure and it is still being considered. We’re both going to see that.

You confided during the adventure that you came from a princely family. Can you tell us?

Obviously, it was in the context of a game so we had to broaden the line a little, simplify things. What I want to say is that indeed, I have a great-grandfather who could, if royalty were still present in Armenia, have had the title of prince and even then, that would never have been him who would have ruled the country or whatever. That’s just part of my family’s history.

What was the most difficult thing for you in this adventure?

The most difficult thing, I would say, was the lack of loved ones. It was very hard both not to have news from them, that they were not there for me, but also for me not to be there for them. Because it’s really part of my daily life, to be present with my loved ones all the time. And then, I would say the second most difficult thing, because that too, is a bit of a subject for me, is the Sunday debriefs. It was always a bit hard.
