“Still alive, still standing” are the words of a song by Renaud and he intends to prove it. If some think that he should end his career and rest, this is not the case for the main one concerned. In the columns of Parisian this Sunday, December 22, he openly responded to his detractors, including one in particular. Jean-Claude Camus, former producer of Johnny Hallyday, recently said that he “better stop”. An opinion that made Renaud react and it was without tongue in cheek that the latter responded to him. “I haven’t heard it, but it annoys me,” he said. Renaud was very upset. “The moron was not born who would want to bury me”, he said, quoting the lyrics of his song Still standing. A simple sentence that says a lot about his way of thinking. As long as his voice and his body follow, Renaud intends to take advantage of his audience, regardless of his detractors. He also spoke about his desire to release a new song. “I'm going to make my next record with violins, piano and accordion. I'm working on it, but I'm having a little trouble, it's difficult to get out. Lack of inspiration”, he declared, later adding that he hoped to be able to unveil it in early 2026.
