According to “TMZ”, the famous American actress would have gone through hell at his side, going so far as to sue him for acts of sexual harassment.

Blake Lively wants to win her case! As reported by our colleagues from TMZ this Saturday December 21, 2024, the wife of Ryan Reynolds engaged legal proceedings against Justin Baldoni, the director of the film It Ends with Us (Never again, editor's note) to whom she had given the answer for the needs of the filming. According to information from the American media, the happy mother of four children accuses him to this day of having sexually harassed her in addition to making her experience real hell to tarnish his image.
In response, the screenwriter's representatives strongly rejected his allegations, calling them “false, scandalous and deliberately salacious“intended for”harm“, in addition to being blatant attempts at personal rehabilitation. Bryan Freedman, Justin Baldoni's lawyer, for his part claimed that Blake Lively would have been “infernal” on the film set, not hesitating not to threaten his colleagues not to come to work and not to promote the film.
As part of the trial, still according to TMZit was reported that the situation had escalated so much that an emergency meeting was orchestrated during filming. Considering her work environment to be hostile, the former actress star of Gossip Girl y would have participated in the hope of being heard, alongside her husband Ryan Reynolds.

Blake Lively's complaint notably lists many of her past requests which denounce the problematic behavior of Justin Baldoni. Such as the ban on the father of the family from broadcasting videos or images of naked women in his presence, from mentioning the genitals of the actors and members of the team, in addition to his supposed “pornography addiction“. But also her conquests or even questioning the Hollywood star about her weight… Bryan Freedman would have explained that his client would have questioned her on this subject for medical reasons, due to supposed back pain.
And that's not all! In the document, it was also emphasized that Penn Badgley's ex-partner did not want to “sex scene” or other uncomfortable sequence which has nothing to do with the initial scenario, something that Justin Baldoni would have accepted at the start of the project. Guidelines which would have been validated by the studio… However, the feature film clearly did not meet with the expected success due to its chaotic promotion. If for his part, Blake Lively mainly wanted to highlight the resilience of his character, Justin Baldoni would have preferred to rely on domestic violence, mentioned in his work.
Marked by this experience, Blake Lively also specified that the actor and the studio would have led a campaign of “manipulation sociale” pour “destroy“his reputation. Excerpts from messages exchanged between Justin Baldoni's press officer and that of the studio were particularly scrutinized for the trial. We can notably read that Emily Baldoni's husband wanted “make (Madame Lively) disappear” et “that we must not write that we are going to destroy it”. A nightmarish situation for Blake Lively which, according to her, would have harmed her career in addition to causing “severe emotional suffering to his family“.
Justin Baldoni remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the case is closed.
