The bigdil See you from January 2, 2025 on RMC Story for its big return. Vincent Lagaf, who is returning to his favorite show, gave us his opinion on the world of television… And he didn’t mince his words!

It’s one of the most anticipated returns of the new year, the bigdil will be broadcast from January 2, 2025 on RMC Story from 9:10 p.m. Viewers will thus find the legendary duo of the game formerly broadcast on TF1: Vincent Lagaf and Bill (played by Gilles Vautier). The settings, the teams but also the games have hardly changed and even if twenty years have passed since the last broadcast in 2004, fans will not be disoriented. On this occasion, Vincent Lagaf gave us an interview in which he looks back on his very long career in television and gives his opinion on the television industry.

Present on television since the mid-80s and his first steps in The ClassVincent Lagaf enjoyed success on television. He explains: “I arrived in this profession by chance, a profession that I don’t like. Finally, I love my job, but I don’t like the environment in which it is. I’m not going to say that I hate him, because someone would say to me: ‘What are you doing in there?’ I would say that I earn a lot of money and it allows me to have the life I dream of. But I don’t have a friend in the profession” says the 65-year-old presenter, who earns seven times less today. He continues: “For years, I alienated everyone pbecause when someone bothered me, I said: ‘Tu m’emm*rdes’. And you shouldn’t say that in the profession. That didn’t stop me, after 45 years, from still being here.

During the twenty stoppages of bigdilVincent Lagaf continued his career on television by presenting on RMC Découverte, Sos Garage et Mechanical Duel 2he opened an extreme sports school and wrote a book. Many activities which are nothing compared to the frantic pace of the years bigdil. He explains: “I didn’t really stop, you know. I started Club Méditerranée in 1979 and since 1979, I have made a living from the contact I have with people. So there were some crazy moments. When you’re on television, 240 days a year, plus prime time, plus galas, plus promotions… A while ago, I was on set 300 days a year or on a stage or work site. Not many of us have that pace. So, obviously, when it goes down a little bit, we have the impression that it’s crossing the desert. But it’s when it goes down a little that we have a normal cadence. And I lived at a crazy pace.”
