For this 2025 edition, Miss Corsica takes the crown for the comical moment of the season ! Indeed, when she had just reached the Top 5 of the beauty contest, the young Stella Vangioni, representative of the island of beauty, experienced a great moment of solitude facing the formidable test of the Miss questions. A brief moment which Internet users were able to quickly seize and which is now cult.
Miss Corsica 2024, destabilized and speechless
For several years, the top 5 of the Miss France competition have had to answer one of the toughest exercises: that of questions/answers. Indeed, the finalists are questioned on current affairs questions to which they must respond by placing themselves in the situation where they would have won the crown.
If the first Misses of the 2025 edition were able to answer the questions properly, when it was Miss Corsica's turn, the dynamic was no longer the same. To the statement: “As Miss France, how would you use your voice to raise awareness among the French about the challenges linked to climate change?”read by Micheline Beaurain, Miss France 1970, the young Stella Vangioni was somewhat destabilized, then wearing an open-mouthed smile. It didn't take much for the Internet to seize on this sequence, creating a real “meme”.
After a few seconds of hesitation, the young woman pulled herself together, thanking the former Miss for her question, before launch into a more complete response.
Miss France 2025 : “We don’t have the right to talk politics”
If Internet users and the public found this moment rather comical, Stella Vangioni returned to this complicated moment. Indeed, in the columns of Morning runthe young woman explains in particular that this question on climate change was delicate to approach within the framework of the Miss France competition for good reason: “we don’t have the right to talk politics” she declares, before arguing:
“I didn't want to infantilize the French by telling them: 'Sort carefully, don't buy fast fashion…' That's not my role. “
Explanations which allow us to better understand the reaction of the young representative of the island of beauty!
