Pascal Praud paid tribute to a colleague, who left too early, this December 16, 2024 in “Time for the pros”. This is Audrey Misiraca, a young director of the show CNews. She died of canceras explained by the contributors to a fundraiser opened a few days ago to help his family cover health costs, as well as those of his funeral.

Pascal Praud also participated, this December 15, 2024, to the tune of 200 euros. The journalist wrote to his protégé: “Dear Audrey, I will not forget your strength or your courage. Sadness only this Sunday. Thoughts and prayers”.

Pascal Praud very moved

On the set of his show this morning, before handing over the air to Jean-Marc Morandini, he wanted to take the time for her. He explained: “I would like us to have a word for Audrey. Our CNews team and the Canal group are in mourning. She produced this show for many years. She died yesterday. She was a young woman we loved.”

And to add: She had two young children. (they are 7 and 11 years old, editor’s note). She showed courage, strength and lucidity in her last moments which is unusual.“.

Giving more information on the tragic fate of the young woman, Pascal Praud explained: “For the past two weeks, she has been at the Jeanne Garnier institute. In this institute, we come when there is no more hope, is supported in palliative care. She had remained lucid in recent days. That's what's terrible, she knew what awaited her. She had made her arrangements.”

Completely upset by this injustice

Upset, Pascal Praud also admitted: “It makes you think, obviously, in these cases, we say the most banal things. When we went to see her with Marine Lançon [la responsable d’édition de L’Heure Des Pros, ndlr]when we went out into the street, and that we saw these people who are on the verge of death.”

And to conclude: “Well for a few moments, we would like it to continue further. We are happy to be alive, we call those we love. And we try to enjoy this life which is often, sometimes in any case, unfair, cruel, and horrible, for Audrey and her children, and her entire family. We think of Audrey. We embrace it very much.”
