On June 17, Marie and Louis Ducruet announced that they were expecting a happy event. Less than a year after welcoming their first child in April 2023, a little girl they chose to call Victoire, the lovers therefore revealed that the family would grow with the arrival of a new baby. It was with an adorable photo of their little blond head and Pancake, their dog, that they chose to make their announcement. The caption read: “Pancake and Goldilocks have an announcement to make. They are expecting a new sibling member, the family is growing!”. Having been a couple for many years, the young parents have never hidden their desire to have a baby and have therefore continued their momentum. After 9 months of waiting, Marie Ducruet gave birth to Constance as the couple announced on Instagram on December 4. “Our family is growing again with the arrival of our little Constance. Marie and Louis shared a snapshot of their child's wrist on which we could see his birth bracelet. In the other photos, it was little Victoire's arms that appeared, obviously very happy to become a big sister. Since the birth of their second child, the couple has chosen to take the time to recover from their emotions and above all to welcome Constance as they should. Marie who is rather active on Instagram and does not hesitate to make beautiful declarations of love to her husband, posted a photo of her natural on December 9. The young mother, who seemed somewhat tired, was holding her baby from behind in her arms. In this sweet photo, she wrote: “Already a week”, in English. This Friday, December 13, she decided to post a new precious moment but this time between her two daughters. Indeed, the wife of Louis Ducruet published a photo on which we can see Victoire, with blond, curly hair, sitting on the changing table and on whose legs is Constanceheld by his mother's hand. A beautiful image on which the parents chose to put a pink heart to hide the face of their newborn.
To live happily, let's live hidden
The couple had already spoken about their choice not to show their children's faces for the moment. In an interview given to Point of view in January 2024, the son of Stéphanie de Monaco explained: “Victoire is still very young, we want to keep some privacy and not expose it right away. She has plenty of time to be, given the family she comes from.”. And to add: “Our priority will always remain her well-being, her safety. Creating buzz on social networks does not interest us, we want above all to protect her”. For her part, Marie Ducruet confided that she took certain risks of social networks very seriously, particularly concerning “what concerns child crime”. “We don't realize how many crazy people are hanging around on this and what they can do with the most banal of photos. I don't want to take that kind of risk. (…) Of course, there will be photos of her one day, but I imagine it in an official setting, on the occasion of events like the national holiday for example”she concluded.
