The designer, considered one of the most brilliant of his generation, was ousted from Dior in 2011 after an altercation where, drunk, he hurled anti-Semitic insults at customers in a Parisian bar. Six months after his dismissal, he was sentenced to a suspended fine of 6,000 euros.
