OLittle is known about the couple formed in the 1980s by Johnny Hallyday and Nathalie Baye… Both have remained rather discreet about their romance, even if the hit “Laura” – named after their daughter – is one of the most known to the French. It all starts with a sketch organized by the Carpentiers for the small screen: Johnny must play a cop, she the role of a vamp. “He is so intimidated to meet her that he arrives late,” says Laura in Match. However, she hates – and still hates – people who are late. Obviously, he doesn't keep her in sight for thirty minutes, but for a good two hours, and as he was afraid of her, he sent his henchman to rehearse the scene with her. There, it exploded. But he looked at her in such a way that she was already fascinated…”
