At the end of November, the Advent market was an opportunity for Liliane Millasseau, painter, to present her production of paintings for the first time. Painting has always been a passion, a pleasure that I have cultivated since childhood.
Also admiring the masterpieces displayed in the museums or in the castles she visited, Liliane wanted to release her passion for painting as soon as she retired. The one who has remained secret in her art since 2004, had need to overcome my fear of revealing my creations to the public
.
“Finding my own path of artistic expression”
The photographic exhibition of the Advent market, coupled with other artists, allowed him to highlight and honor his passion and his know-how. The good feedback from the public, rich and positive, gave me full confidence in my work as an amateur painter.
Without academic artistic education, I lacked almost all the theoretical bases, notably on perspective, balance, colors, composition”,
explains Liliane, who joined the Atelier du rempart de Beaufort-en-Vallée in 2004 to perfect her favorite art. The workshop allowed me to find my own path of artistic expression.
Exploring all processes, his canvases are windows open to nature, to an expressive portrait or an inspiration of the moment.
Liliane does not sell her paintings. I have lots of paintings in my boxes. I give them on certain occasions to my friends and family.
Member of the Longué-Sinsheim twinning, her paintings are displayed even in German homes
. That said, for Liliane, painting also means constantly evolving, experimenting with new techniques and never resting on what you have learned.
