Jean-Claude Camus is very close to Pierre Palmade. It was therefore quite natural that the producer mentioned his affair on the set of “Chez Jordan”, but not only that. According to him, Pierre Palmade would like more than anything to share someone's life and to be surrounded on a daily basis.
“Her dream is to find love. He told me: 'I never knew what love was, I only saw, with drugs, beautiful boys, and I could only have these beautiful boys by paying for them. ' He wants to love someone.” confided Jean-Claude Camus. According to him, drugs prevented the fallen star from being herself. “He was in a spiral, addiction we know what it feels like, unfortunately.” he added.

On the set of C8, Jean-Claude Camus also expressed the unfailing support he has given to Pierre Palmade since the accident. “I have a house near Bordeaux, we have lunch once in a while, it does him good. And I guarantee you, I know it because I've been seeing him for a year, he really got off drugs (…) he goes to the hospital twice a week for tests and check-ups. He doesn't drink alcohol or drugs.“ he concluded.
