The choice of riders is also very important. Often noble young men with dancing talents are requisitioned to lend their arms to these young ladies. This year, the young American Peyton Spaht had the privilege of participating in the Debutante Ball on the arm of Prince Constantin of Orléans, 21 years old. Prince Constantin is the son of Prince Charles-Louis d'Orléans, Duke of Chartres, cousin of the Count of Paris, current head of the royal family of France.

An American young lady has the right to the arm of a French prince to make her debut in high society
Prince Charles-Louis, descendant of King Louis-Philippe I, supports this great social and charitable event. Her eldest daughter, Princess Louise was one of the debutantes in 2019. In 2022, it was the turn of her second daughter, Princess Hélène to be among the debutantes. Princess Hélène had participated in the Ball on the arm of her own brother, Prince Philippe, eldest of this family of five. As for Prince Constantine, he had been the cavalier of Archduchess Ildiko of Habsburg-Lorraine, daughter of the Hungarian ambassador to France and niece of the head of the imperial family of Austria.

This year, Prince Constantine waltzed with Peyton Spaht. This San Francisco native is the daughter of Holden Spaht, a partner at the famous private equity firm Thoma Bravo. Her family is involved in several charities, a point which was also decisive in Peyton's participation in this evening. The Debutante Ball is a charity evening. The funds raised will go to the Necker-Enfants Malades hospital and its Association for Research in Cardiology from Fetus to Adults (ARCFA).
The Debutante Ball is an opportunity for young ladies to wear haute couture dresses and fine jewelry for the first time in such a context. Peyton Spaht set her sights on a baroque dress by Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda, whose fabric patterns of its bouffant petticoat with train evoke paintings by Italian painters.
